We cooperate with educational institutions and offer students opportunities to learn in practice what work in a modern industrial company is like. Many Stera employees have started their journey with us exactly this way.
Internship at Stera
We offer several internship positions annually at our various factories for vocational and higher education students in the field of technology.
During an internship, you will participate in real work tasks and see firsthand how products are manufactured, assembled, tested, and developed. Tasks may relate to, for example, production, electronics, automation, quality, logistics, or production development.
If you would like to do an internship at Stera, please send us an application. In your application, tell us what you are studying, what kind of internship you are looking for, and when you’d be available. We’ll look into it together to see if we can find a suitable opportunity for you.
Thesis
We offer thesis topics for University of Applied Sciences and Master’s degree students in the field of technology. Topics can be found, for example, in production development, automation, quality, logistics, electronics, or sustainability.
We occasionally recruit students directly for specific topics. We announce these positions on the open positions page. However, most thesis students are selected based on open applications or previous internships.
If you are interested in doing a thesis at Stera, send us an application. In your application, tell us about your studies, your interests, and any wishes you may have regarding the topic, and we will work together to see if we can find the right topic for you.
Summer jobs
We offer summer jobs especially in production, assembly, logistics, and other industrial tasks. A summer job is a good way to get to know Stera, gain practical experience, and find your own direction in the technology sector.

Cooperation with educational institutions
We cooperate with vocational schools, universities of applied sciences, and universities in Finland and Estonia. Cooperation can include, for example, company visits, recruitment events, on-the-job learning periods, student projects, or theses.
We want to offer students the opportunity to see what kind of career paths the technology industry can open up and what kind of expertise is needed in modern manufacturing.
