We have 1,000 people working at Stera’s factories in Finland and Estonia. We perform demanding industrial work in mechanical and electronics production, wiring harness manufacturing, design, quality, logistics, supervisory roles, and many specialist positions.

What kind of work is done at Stera?
Stera needs professionals from many fields. Some work with machines, materials, and assembly. Others design, develop, test, manage production, or ensure quality and deliveries are maintained.
Production roles are mostly daytime work, organized into one, two, or three shifts depending on the role. Office staff have flexible working hours, and production workers have a working time bank that adds flexibility to daily life.
Production
In production, we manufacture individual metal parts, subassemblies, electronics, wiring harnesses, and more complete systems for various industrial needs.
Roles include, for example, welding, bending, CNC machining, laser cutting, surface treatment, assembly, circuit board manufacturing, control cabinet assembly, wiring harness manufacturing, testing, quality inspection, and logistics.
Design, development, and quality
In design, development, and quality roles, we improve product manufacturability, production methods, automation, processes, and quality. The work combines technical expertise, problem-solving, and collaboration with customers and production.
Supervisory and specialist roles
In supervisory and specialist roles, we support people, guide production, develop operations, and ensure work progresses as agreed. For us, leadership means streamlining daily operations, openness, and continuous improvement.
Specialist roles include, for example, sourcing, sales, production planning, project management, human resources, finance, and customer service.
