CULTURE AND VALUES
Seven factories, one Stera.
Stera combines the expertise of a large industrial enterprise with a straightforward Nordic, low-hierarchy way of operating. Work is carried out together across team, factory, and national borders. Regardless of their title, everyone has the opportunity to influence, take responsibility, and improve common operating methods.
For us, culture does not mean fancy words, but a way of working. It is reflected in how we treat each other, take care of our customers, and keep our promises. Information is shared actively, problems are addressed, and decisions are made close to the action.
Stera is constantly growing and developing. Therefore, we value new perspectives and the courage to propose improvements to practices. Our diverse work community is united by respect for people, taking responsibility, and a desire to do good work.
Values reflected in everyday life
- Customer orientation
- Profitability
- Employee satisfaction
Customer orientation
We understand, anticipate, and develop.
Everything we do is guided by the customer’s best interest. For us, partnership means always doing what’s best for the customer. We listen carefully, understand the customer’s needs, and dare to challenge if we see a better way of doing things.
Long-term customer relationships speak of trust. We have known many of our customers’ products, requirements, and business for decades. We make long-term investments in expertise, capacity, automation, and digital processes so that we can grow alongside our customers.
Profitability
We take responsibility and see things through to completion.
Results are born from expertise, responsibility, and everyone doing their part well.
We set goals, monitor progress, and constantly look for better ways of operating. We are not satisfied with things working today; instead, we think about how they can be done even better tomorrow. We focus on activities that generate value for customers, the company, and the entire work community.
Employee satisfaction
We trust, value, and succeed together.
Stera’s strength lies in people who know their work, take their responsibility, and help each other succeed. Good work is created in everyday life: at the machines, in production control, in solving problems, and in ensuring that commitments are met.
We value diverse expertise and different perspectives. We encourage open discussion, giving feedback, and sharing information. At the same time, we consider it important that everyone takes responsibility and commits to common operating methods.
We want to build a workplace where everyone can do their work safely and as well as possible, develop, and feel part of a shared success.
“A good culture is reflected in the fact that the employee feels like part of the same team. Clear rules, open discussion, and a common direction make everyday life smooth across factory and national borders.”
